In this course you will learn general first aid and CPR with a focus on tactical application. We will take the skills taught in the classroom outdoors where you will learn the 20 wilderness essentials for hiking and camping in the woods or mountains. Upon completion of this program, you will be able to create primitive shelters to manage hot, cold, and wet weather with materials provided by mother nature. You will also learn water purification and fire making methods depending on your available resources. Additionally, we teach how to create stretchers from tree limbs and how to carry an injured person out of the woods. You will also learn primitive navigation techniques based on your surrounding environment. This class is perfect for campers and hikers of all levels.
