This class will teach you to identify several kinds of life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a timely and effective manner.
Band of Heroes will provide you with instructional materials for your review and further provide demonstrations with hands-on practice to ensure that you have the knowledge base and expertise to use these skills if the situation arises. You will learn the common warning signs and symptoms of someone in distress so that you can take a proactive approach in the emergency, rather than a reactive one.
This course will teach you First Aid basics to help individuals respond during a medical emergency in which medical personnel are en route. You will learn methods of response for injuries to muscles, bones and joints; sudden illness; soft tissue injuries; and environmental emergencies. Whether or not this certification is a job requirement, it is Band of Heroes' mission to teach you basic first aid tactics. We welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds to enroll today.
